The Role

We are seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Custodian and CRM Integrations Team!

The team’s mission is to enable clients and partners to integrate with Addepar. Our cross-functional team designs, develops and operates automated workflows between Addepar and 3rd party systems. We aim to serve a variety of needs from slick no-code UI options, to more complex workflows built on top of our APIs. Take a look at our Integration Center to see some of the existing integrations!

We’re looking for someone who will build an inclusive team culture, empower engineers to succeed and cultivate an environment that creates high-quality engineering processes and product delivery. You’ll work closely with product and design to deliver great products.

Our team works primarily with Java, making use of the Temporal durable execution engine to orchestrate our integration workflows. We also work on projects that require the use of Apex (proprietary Salesforce language), Javascript (Ember and LWC frameworks) and Python.

Applicants must have, and maintain, the right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate closely with partners from the product and design teams to build great products for our clients.
  • Drive technical direction of projects; taking business objectives and working with the team to define scalable solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance for junior developers on the team.
  • Promote engineering best practices and principles to ensure that we build extensible solutions with high quality, maintainable code.

Who You Are

  • Extensive experience as a senior software engineer using an object-oriented language, preferably Java.
  • Proven track record of shipping complex multi-service software architecture.
  • Strong sense of ownership — you enjoy taking ideas from inception through to production.
  • Experience working with key stakeholders to deliver projects.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure.

Our Values

  • Act Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose and care. Own outcomes.
  • Build Together - Collaborate to unlock the best solutions. Deliver lasting value.
  • Champion Our Clients - Exceed client expectations. Our clients’ success is our success.
  • Drive Innovation - Be bold and unconstrained in problem solving. Transform the industry.
  • Embrace Learning - Engage our community to broaden our perspective. Bring a growth mindset.

In addition to our core values, Addepar is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We seek to bring together diverse ideas, experiences, skill sets, perspectives, backgrounds and identities to drive innovative solutions. We commit to promoting a welcoming environment where inclusion and belonging are held as a shared responsibility.

We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.

PHISHING SCAM WARNING: Addepar is among several companies recently made aware of a phishing scam involving con artists posing as hiring managers recruiting via email, text and social media. The imposters are creating misleading email accounts, conducting remote “interviews,” and making fake job offers in order to collect personal and financial information from unsuspecting individuals. Please be aware that no job offers will be made from Addepar without a formal interview process. Additionally, Addepar will not ask you to purchase equipment or supplies as part of your onboarding process. If you have any questions, please reach out to Find Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow
