Commercial Paralegal

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Our Ideal candidate will already have experience in a commercial legal environment, with at least 2 years experience. You will be able to multi-task and be able to meet deadlines. You will also have an excellent attention to detail.

We’re a growing, and exciting business with lots of potential for someone looking to take that step into an interesting and fast paced commercial business where they can develop their career. We offer a very friendly and sociable working environment and are fully office based Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.

As a Commercial Paralegal this role involves:

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements.
• Assisting with the distribution, recording, filing, and archiving of fully executed contracts and amendments
• Drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements such as NDA’s, terms and conditions of supply and/or purchase, hire agreements and contracts in support of Cathay Investments operations.
• Preparing information for briefs for external legal advisors.
• Carrying out document searches for cases including disclosures.
• Supporting the business in operational projects
• Review & communicating key terms for contracts and other legal documents to managers in the business.
