Machine Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Cogent Staffing are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse / Machine Operative operative to join our client based in Bolton.

They have an option of two shifts available to choose from

2pm - 10pm OR Night shift 10pm – 6am

Monday to Friday

Duties :

• Picking and packing orders.
• Machine operating.
• Loading and unloading wagons.
• Stock maintenance.
• General housekeeping.
• Working to deadlines.

Candidates should have:

• Experience of working within a metal working environment
• Knowledge of machine operating, such as Saws, Drills and Guillotines.
• Basic computer / IT and general mathematics skills.

Attributes

• Self motivated and willing to always improve and develop.
• Ability to work in a team, although being able to work alone when required.
• Offer great customer service, whilst maintaining company standards.
• Basic computer / IT and general mathematics skills.
• Reliability, being able to show an excellent timekeeping and attendance record.

Desirable

• FLT licence, with experience operating Combilift trucks an advantage.

Package / Benefits

• 22,500 – 24,000
