Production Finance Assistant (Comedy/Entertainment Productions)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

An opportunity has come up to join a successful TV production company as part of a dynamic finance team.

Reporting to the Finance manager, the Production Finance Assistant will work closely with Production Executives & Production Managers across a slate of Comedy/Entertainment shows.

Responsible for reconciling and checking the accuracy of weekly Production Cost reports , this role will include responsibility for Accounts Payable including posting invoices & preparation of payment runs with correct treatment of VAT and withholding tax where required, checking accuracy and completeness of payroll submissions , performing bank , credit card and float reconciliations, updating production cost reports for payroll and supplier payments , dealing with supplier queries.

This position would be ideal for someone with some accounts experience looking to expand their knowledge and experience.

Requirements :

At least 2 years experience in an accounts role

Basic technical accounting / bookkeeping knowledge

Advanced excel skills and strong written and verbal communication

This role would suit someone with a helpful and proactive attitude able to work efficiently within a deadline-oriented, fast paced, team environment.

Full time: 6 month initial contract with a view to extend

Hybrid working: 2 days in London office, 3 days WFH.

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
