1:1 SEN support practitioner

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are recruiting within our busy nursery, for a 1:1 support worker. The role consists of working with the room lead and SENDCo to support the individual needs of a specific child/ children. It requires a clear DBS as well as previous SEN experience.

Responsibilities:

- Liaise with parents and outside professionals.

- Observe and adapt to a child's individual needs.

- Work alongside the room lead to support the child within the environment.

The hours will vary between 10-15 hours depending on the child's funded hours.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Newquay, Cornwall: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
