Role Overview & Responsibilities

Main Duties

Working within the GHD Master Data team, as a Master Data analyst is a key role for managing project master data and understanding the high level of business operations impacts. The purpose of this job is to be one of the Point of Contacts for NPD or/and Limited Editions projects on managing data creation and change requests from the business.


The Master Data Team is part of the PMO Department and reporting to the Head of Project Management.

The Master Data analyst will work closely with NPD Project managers/Supply Chain/Procurement/Engineering and Design team. This role is versatile and requires the candidate to be proactive in data analysis.

Using different systems, the new joiner will have exposure on Arena/Microsoft Dynamics/Robohead.


Manage the Product Master data from start to finish for projects, following a step-by-step guide which will provide good quality of data to the business.

  • Collect MD request for codes creation.
  • Create Product data (FG/SFG)
  • Create Bills of Material of Finished Good
  • Configure product data in Microsoft Dynamics
  • Design kitting guides


Run Master Data report for quality check and for dashboard purposes.

  • Provide Business support based on SLAGet involved into the new ERP implementation.
  • Attend User Acceptance Testing
  • Quality check of Items creation and BOM
  • Product pricing setup & updates / creation & import of Trade agreement journals


Vendor Quality checks

  • Collect Vendor creation/update request from the business.
  • Follow the screening compliance check for Due diligence of vendor information like (T&C, contact & Bank details checks, VAT number) and business requirements.
  • Liaise with Account Payables/Procurement once admin check completed.
  • Inform the business when vendor created/updated in the system.


Provide support to the Master Data Manager where required.

  • Suggest any MD and business processes improvements.
  • Create/Update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents.


Person specification

MUST HAVE:

  • Strong Analytical mindset like Gap analysis/Problem solving/Reporting
  • Experience in Master data – Product and/or Vendor data
  • IT skill intermediate (Excel/PPT)
  • Ability to work independently and team spirit
  • Detail oriented, Organised and versatile

DESIRED:

  • Familiarity with GS1, RoboHead
  • Supply Chain/Procurement background is a plus
  • SAP Material Master data experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics exposure
  • Usage of Product lifecycle management systems like Arena
