Auto Parts Counter Person

Role Overview & Responsibilities

• Fill and assist parts requests and orders for service technicians
• Fill and assist parts requests from ASMs
• Help answer phone calls regarding parts inquiries from retail/wholesale customers
• Help check in daily shipments that come in
• Deliver parts to and from our other location when needed
• Help keep track and manage inventory and report any discrepancies
• Record and report any damages and/or shortages to the parts manager
• Help with daily stock checks and make sure parts are in correct bin locations
• Help with monthly returns and warranty scrap
• Help keep department and working area clean and free of any obstacles
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry

• Valid and current driver's license
• Dealership experience preferred
• Have strong organizational, multitasking and time management skills
• Detail oriented
• Team oriented
• Strong work ethic

• Great communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Auto Parts Specialist: 1 year (Preferred)
• Shipping and Receiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
