Senior Fellow in Cardiac Electrophysiology (Bournemouth/Southampton)

Opportunities to train in EP and Complex Devices in the Wessex Region based at either University Hospitals Dorset (on the Bournemouth site) or University Hospitals Southampton.

Posts are to start in April (UHS ) August (UHD and UHS) 2023 and will be normally be appointed for a duration of 12 months. Candidates will be able to preference which site they are applying for at interview.

UHD offers a comprehensive adult EP and device service to residents of Dorset and parts of Hampshire and Wiltshire. Three in house and two visiting Electrophysiologists along with an additional three complex devices implanters deliver over 700 EP ablation and 300 complex device procedure in the setting of a busy cardiac cath lab service.

UHS offers Adult EP ablation and devices to Hampshire and Guernsey as well as Paediatric & ACHD EP and devices and lead extraction to the wider region from the Wessex Cardiothoracic Centre.

Both sites offer access to emerging techniques in EP and CIEDs
